Bhojpur Road Tragedy: Two Friends Killed in Devastating Scorpio-Bike Collision
A tragic road accident on Tuesday evening in Bhojpur district claimed the lives of two young friends, Raja Kumar (26) and Rohit Kumar (25). Their bike was struck head-on by an uncontrolled Scorpio on the Jagdishpur-Piro State Highway. Both died instantly at the scene, leaving families in deep shock. Police have seized the Scorpio, while the driver remains at large.
A devastating road accident in Bhojpur district on Tuesday evening resulted in the tragic deaths of two young friends, sending a wave of shock and profound sorrow through the local community. The horrific collision occurred when an uncontrolled Scorpio collided head-on with their motorcycle on the Jagdishpur-Piro State Highway.
The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Raja Kumar, son of Chhotan Ram, a resident of Khapta village, Ward No. 5, Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat, and 25-year-old Rohit Kumar, son of Vinod Sah, from Gahbar Tola village, Piro police station area. The incident took place near Regal Dhaba in Tenduni village. According to preliminary reports, Raja Kumar was reportedly dropping his friend Rohit Kumar to his village in Gahbar Tola when the fatal accident occurred.
Eyewitnesses described the collision as extremely severe, with the impact completely wrecking the motorcycle and throwing both riders a considerable distance. Both friends sustained grievous injuries and succumbed on the spot. Local residents rushed to the scene, transporting the victims to a nearby hospital, but medical personnel pronounced them dead upon arrival.
Upon receiving information about the tragedy, Jagdishpur police promptly arrived at the site. They took custody of the bodies and sent them to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem examination. The driver of the Scorpio abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene immediately after the accident. Police have since seized the Scorpio and initiated a search for the absconding driver. The incident has sparked widespread anger and grief among the local populace, with families grappling with immense loss.
