Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh – A dispute over firecrackers in Vishungarh, Kannauj, escalated into a violent confrontation outside the local police station on Tuesday evening. The clash led to injuries among civilians and police personnel, including the Chhibramau Kotwal, and a tense standoff.
The incident began when Dilip Khatik alleges he was subjected to caste-based abuse and assault by a group, including Akhilesh Rajput, a representative of the local Pradhan, while purchasing firecrackers.
